Zoology

Department of Zoology was established in 1970. At present Dr Rachana Joshi and Dr Manisha Deshpande are working as faculty members in the department. Approximately 225 students are enrolled in undergraduate classes. Besides regular classes department organizes quizzes, group discussions, speeches, essay writings, etc for the benefit of students. Invited lectures by eminent guest speakers are also organized every year. In 2021-22 an Orientation Program on “VERMICOMPOSTING “(Vocational Course) has also been organized as in keeping with the requirements of new education policy 2020.
