Department of physics was established right now from the beginning of the college(1970). It is branch of government science college. Department of computer science started in 2006. Electronics is also running as well since 2010.
Virtual lectures on the collaboration of higher education Bhopal Madhya Pradesh are also uploaded at higher education official website. '.E-contents' for b.sc. physics are uploaded at college website (slpcollege.org).
Placement of students is excellent in past few years.
